In the mind of separation, the belief in guilt and the grievances that are expression of guilt, hide the Light of your Mind and make it inaccessible to your awareness.
Forgiveness is required to heal the sense of guilt and all grievances.
This frees the mind, allowing its Light to shine brightly again, dispelling the darkness of the world and offering a blessing to all.

Then nothing remains to be done but to thank your Father.

The Holy Spirit has the function of undoing the falsity in your mind, with your willingness and cooperation.
He will help you in this, giving you His willingness to strengthen yours.
What is required is an undoing, not a doing,
as the false thought system of separation is steadily and skillfully undone,
until all falsity in the mind is healed leaving only the willingness for Truth.

He alone has the vision, the understanding, and the power to do so.
Although He does it for you, He can do nothing without you fulfilling your part.
Your part is simple and straightforward and never changes.
You are asked to learn the difference between Truth and illusion, Love and fear;
And to apply this understanding consistently to your own thoughts, feelings, and actions.

All that must be done to return to Heaven is to reverse the original error when Love was replaced by fear, Oneness by separation, and Eternity eclipsed by time.
The reversal begins with the recognition of the original error and the desire to let it be corrected.
Struggle and effort are not needed.
It is not necessary for you to correct the original error, indeed you cannot.

And from this dream, the Lord of Heaven will Himself awaken His beloved Child.
Dream of your brother’s kindnesses instead of dwelling in your dreams on his mistakes.
Select his thoughtfulness to dream about instead of counting up the hurts he gave.
Forgive him his illusions and give thanks to him for all the helpfulness he gave.
And do not brush aside his many gifts because he is not perfect in your dreams.

Today, continuously affirm the Love in your heart for ALL beloveds.
If you are tempted to judge or reject anyone, stand firm in your intention to see only the innocence in every beloved.
Come without defense, offering only messages of compassion and kindness.
The more you are devoted to the Truth of innocence and beauty, the more you will see the Light in all humanity.
Thank God Only Love is real.

Keeping alive the past is the means used to completely obscure the present and maintain an unbroken continuity of illusion based in the past and stretching to the future.
There is no place for Truth in the ego’s world.
Yet even here Truth cannot be completely obscured, for It waits for you in the present, underneath the loud and incessant chatter of the ego mind, resting in deepest peace.
A quiet mind is an invitation to Truth to enter and claim its Home once again.

All that denies Love in your mind is for giving to the Holy Spirit to be healed.
That is what forgiving means.
When everything that is not Love has been removed from your holy mind, only Love will remain to brighten your life with Its blessings.

As God is Love, the nature of the Christ is Love.
And to know Love again, you must give It freely to all.

You are always responding from either Love or fear.
